Invite youth to put their taste buds to the test with 4-H Cooking 101, 201, and Helper's Guide Bundle. With the help of a 4-H Teen Teacher, students will learn about food and kitchen safety, practice measuring and using equipment and make and sample tasty dishes like scalloped corn, coffee cake and Mexican layered dip.
Among other topics, youth learn how to use MyPlate, avoid spreading germs while cooking, measure and mix ingredients, test baked goods for doneness, brown meat, and set the table for a family meal.
