This deck of cards provides short health messages to third grade students. Each health message is paired with a health-centered activity. Developed by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholars from the University of Kentucky, these cards engage the imagination and knowledge of undergraduate healthcare professional students who were tasked to develop Brief, Regular, Integrated, Energetic, and Fun (BRIEF) lessons on health. These cards are aimed at a third-grade audience and can be used in a variety of settings such as classroom, 4-H clubs and programs, or anywhere youth are learning nutrition!

Each card has:

• A question on a specific health topic.
• An answer to the question, providing an important health message.
• An activity that takes about 5 minutes to complete.
• Suggestions and resource links for activities, including movement, storytelling, acting, drawing, challenges, word search, math, and word mazes.
