Sewing Expressions Level 1: Under Construction
This book is Level 1 of the 4-H Sewing Curriculum. This activity book, written by university experts, help young people develop and share their creative abilities in the sewing and textiles area.
Participants may work at the level most appropriate for them, no matter what the age. Written for grades 3-12. Youth will learn more about fashion and their unique style as well as technology in sewing and careers in the textile industry (36 pages).
The activity books include sections on creating (gaining experience in sewing), maintaining (caring for textile items), teching (technology applications in the apparel and textile industry), futuring (a sampling of potential careers), and serving (using their knowledge and skills to help others).
