I really like how My Plate is approached for the various cultures. The recipes are a little too "Americanized", but with some research, that is easy to fix. Mexico is by far the best culture represented in the book, and the one that sold us on the book by being the "look inside" option. Some of the recipes take too long for a "normal" 4-H meeting, but with some research and cooking knowledge, you can find shortcuts. It's nice that there are cultural tidbits for each cuisine given.
